Questions We Get A Lot
Yes! Our mount is made from materials that do not interfere with Starlink's radio signals. In our testing, the Hail-Proof Hardtop had no impact on speed or latency.
Due to the Starlink Mini's maximum operating temperature of 122°F, we do not offer darker-colored caps. Our design reflects nearly all of the sun's heat, whereas darker materials would absorb heat, causing the unit to overheat and reducing the Mini's speed.
Yes, that's its intended purpose! You should have no issues traveling at highway speeds with our magnets or suction cups.
We recommend using our magnet attachments paired with our VHB metal discs. This combination allows you to create magnetic attachment points on non-magnetic surfaces, such as fiberglass or aluminum.
For more permanent installations, we recommend screwing or bolting the unit to your desired surface. This can be done in various ways, as our mount features holes on the top and threaded inserts on the bottom.

Veritas Van has made a great accessory for the mini starlink. The magnets are very strong and we went through a hail storm and the carrier did great and did not sustain any damage. Recommend purchasing to protect your starlink mini. And definitely get the handle. Helps to remove off the roof. Without it, it is very difficult to get those magnets to release.

Great products and fantastic experience with Veritas Vans. I recently purchased the vehicle mount for my Mini and could not be more pleased. I run this mount on a ’20 F250 with the magnetic pucks and feet on the roof of my aluminum cab and with the suction cup mounts in the moon roof of a ’16 Ford Explorer. Both mounting solutions are even more secure than I imagined and I have over 5,000 miles traveled both at highway speeds and off-road with each and nothing but confidence. I love the design of the mount and its versatility. Super fast and simple to swap between the magnetic feet and suction cups, and the ability to mount from top or bottom makes this mount that much more handy for any situation. Very easy to install I use it in my work truck I did buy the kit with the magnets and the handle I simply roll down my back window and run the cable thru the window I did just for a safety point took a zip tie and took the cable and zip tied it to the handle of the mini. The mini hasn’t come off or even come close but if it did the zip tie would hold the starlink from hitting the ground. The speed of it is great for the work i need to do from the truck on a computer. So yes, a great investment that i never thought I would need. Cell phones are okay if you’re a mouse trying not to read a lot of information.

I have the Starlink Mini Mount and Starlink Mini Mount Bolt-On Handle and couldn’t be happier. The handle makes the mini mount super easy to handle and it feels very well protected. Being able to just throw it on my roof or into the back of my van without worry, it gives me comfort. The only issue I have been running into is finding a carrying case for it. The ones sold by Veritas is a bit more expensive than I’d like to pay. I ended up just getting a DJ equipment bag and putting my Starlink and cables in there.

Fantastic product. I purchased the enclosure, handle, magnets, suction cups and carrying case. I need data in the boonies and that means driving with my Starlink on my roof. The magnets and suction cups are formidable. In fact, I need the handle on the enclosure to help get the magnets off my truck.
The case itself really impressed me as it is perfectly thought out. The interior has space for the enclosure with the handle installed and the magnets/cups with storage for the unused magnets/cups and storage for the Starlink cable plus the unused piece of enclosure in removed to install the handle fits perfectly in the storage space. It’s just SO well thought out.
I’ll be ordering two more for my truck fleet.

This is my second Starlink mini mount from VV. The first one flew off the top of my truck at highway speed (100% user error— I did not pump the suction cups after repositioning). My wife thought I was crazy for going back for it, so of course I went back. It was scuffed and dirty, but it mounted and worked perfectly. Starlink survived without a hint of damage.

So far the roof mount has been awesome! The setup I use is the magnetic feet on the roof of a Ford Electric Transit van. The van is tall and I leave the mount on the roof permanently so having a durable solution to withstand weather, tree branches etc is important. I own a plumbing company and frequently work in areas with little to no cell reception. Having high speed internet on the van has become essential. Without it, I would not be able to process payments in the field, pull up examples of fixtures for the client to see, respond to client emails, or even make calls sometimes. The Veritas Starlink mini mount has become essential.

I ordered a mini mount for my wife’s vehicle from another company and have no complaints. Thought I would try this product for my own mini. No regrets. Sturdy and well constructed. Took me a minute to figure out how to instal the handle but easy enough. Word of advise tho if ordering with the magnets, check to see what type of metal that it is you are looking to mount it to. I didn’t realize my Ford F250 (work truck) roof was aluminum. Just ordered the adhesive disc mounts today. Being a work truck I’m not too worried about left over residue etc. I’m hoping the bond is strong enough tho for our -35C Canadian winters. When using the magnets on my Ram 3500 those things absolutely grabbed and hung onto the roof no problem. I do not have any concerns with the mount moving or coming off driving at Hwy speeds or on the rough back roads where I’m at. It’ll be interesting to monitor however in the rain/snow/ice. Although it’s not a concern yet and it may not be, but a bottom plate might be advantageous for poor weather conditions to help keep moisture out of the connection port area? Maybe it’s fine, will see how it fairs through the nasty season. Well done tho, highly recommend and would buy again.

So, pro tip: With the Rack Adaptors installed and a set of M6x20mm stainless insert nuts from Amazon ($8), you can put the magnets wherever you need them to miss the ribs of your roof. Or in my case, I wanted just one side to be attached to the roof rail with thumb knobs, and magnets to level it out on the other side. It came out perfect. This thing is tough as hell but still has plenty of installation flexibility. Love it.

Great product and super quick delivery! I ordered this while in Moab, on a Friday and it was delivered to my business mailbox in Colorado on Monday afternoon. I placed it into the case and mounted it on the van in under 10 minutes. The magnets feel plenty strong to take on anything I see hitting it. That being the blow by of an approaching semi truck at 70mph, tree limbs on trails, big bumps while hitting 4x roads, etc. This one is a keeper and glad I went with this as opposed to some cheap 3D printed model from another vendor.

I’ve just recently purchased Starlink and saw the Mini Mount reviewed on a Youtube channel. As I live in England my first thoughts were that the shipping costs would be high and it would take ages to arrive. So when I added the product to my cart I was pleasantly surprised to see the shipping charge at a very reasonable price of $30. As I had several weeks before my road trip I thought that would be plenty of time for it to arrive. I placed the order and to my amazement the Mini Mount arrived within 3 days! No customs charge either which was a relief.

Just received it in the mail, have not used it yet but gave it a quick test fit and it works great. My main review is on the price and postage. Being in Australia you see some great US deals online but most excitement is quickly killed off when it comes to exchange rates and postage. I ordered mine of the 7th of Feb and received it on the 13th of Feb postage was just $30us. Even with the exchange rate the mount comes in under $100 cheaper than anything that ever comes close to it in Australia. Another company in the US had a similar item with a similar price but wanted $265 to post it to Australia. All of our options in Australia seem to attach via the starling mounting bracket which at the end of the day is just a simple plastic clip on part. This mount holds the whole item.

Very sturdy mount! I think what folks might miss with the suction cup mount option is these are VERY Strong vacuum pump suction cups. The ‘stickiness’ of the suction cups isn’t based on it being strong naturally or based on it being somewhat wet but based on the thumb pumps on each cup creating a very strong vacuum. I think the cups these guys used are overbuilt but that’s nothing at all to complain about for sure.

It worked amazing. I used both the magnets and suction cups without any worried or problems. The magnets are incredibly strong and is exactly what I needed.
I used this mount for two week and went off-roading every day. There were multiple times I was caught in tight spaces and had low branches scraping the top of my vehicle. The mount never moved.

This is probably one of the nicest enclosures for Starlink Mini you will find. It’s incredibly sturdy and won’t mar it scratch your Starlink. The new style enclosure includes a sturdy white cover to protect the top and sides too – tough and stylish.
I purchased magnets and suction cups, as I plan to use it with the Starlink on my dash (see pic). It can be mounted to the roof of your car or inside your windshield too. I’m still blown away Space X figured all of this out, it’s great to have portable internet that works at rest or in motion.
If you want a nice enclosure to keep your Starlink Mini protected, this mount will not disappoint.

The first one was lost in shipping. Customer service was outstanding and another one was sent and arrived quickly. that said this product is better than I thought. My Ford F250 has an all aluminum body so a magnetic sustem was out of the question. After researching a suction mounting system for my Starling Mini I found this one with no reviews at the time. I decided to take a chance and am quit suprised at the high quility and build, after all this bracket must hold a very expensive panel in off road and highway conditions. I would trust this for sure. Attention to detail is a plus with covers that come with it to protect each suction cup so it can be set anywhere. It assembles easily with all the screws and a allen wrench to get you going fast and secure.

Using the mount on my Tesla and and am blown away by the ability to get 100MB while driving down the freeway at 70MPH. The kit is very well made, build quality is impressive and all the points line up perfectly (this appears to be a problem with other mounts). The only issue to report is there is increased wind noise but this is going to happen with anything mounted on the roof. I plan on using magnets to mount on my Suburban next.

The magnets on this mount are very strong and have a thick rubber coating so they will not scratch the surface you attach it to. No need to worry about it moving while driving, even at high speeds. The only thing I wish it had was a handle to make it easier to remove from the vehicle since the magnets are so strong. I highly recommend this mount.
